TOMBA (7) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 1.75 lengths over 7f at this track. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and he is a key runner. MISSILE SEEKER (9) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when tenth, beaten 5 lengths, over 6f at Randwick. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. CALIFORNIA WAVES (8) broke his maiden last start over 6½f at Hawkesbury, scoring by 0.7 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. This is tougher but he is capable of another big run. STARPHISTOCATED (11) broke her maiden last start over 1m at Wyong, scoring by 0.6 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Re-unites with Jeff Penza who was on board last start. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again.
