WISCONSIN GAL (4) is a talented filly who tackled tougher grade last time, finishing 6 lengths behind Miss Martini over 6f in Listed grade at Oaklawn Park (Dirt). Very well placed in this company and looks hard to beat. LA MARINERA (2) got a long way back when 15 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m at Turfway Park last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Turfway Park the run before. Meets some better types this time but she has the talent to test this line-up. EMPIRICAL MISCHIEF (3) is back from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Closed last prep with a third, beaten 12 lengths, over 6f at this track. One of the better chances.
