QUEEN IN THE DECK (9) is a three-start maiden who finished fourth at her most recent appearance over 1m at Colonial Downs (Turf). Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. MEZCALIFORNIA (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/2f at Aqueduct, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the corner. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SPUN UP (6) settled back on debut last time out and battled on evenly to finish fourth over 5f at Horseshoe Indianapolis (Turf). Has upside and must be respected.
