LUDWIG (1) is back from a lay-off of eight months and brings solid fresh form to the table. Strung together two wins before the break, the latest over 6½f at Saratoga. Has a high cruising speed. Expecting a bold showing. SAFFA'S DAY (5) displayed plenty of early toe over 6f at Aqueduct (Dirt) last time and went on to score by 1.3 lengths. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. CHAMPLIN (9) is a talented galloper who is unbeaten from two runs, the latest success coming over 6f at Fairgrounds (Dirt). Far too good last time and is right in contention again. HIGHER STANDARD (3) pushed forward and was a determined winner by 1.3 lengths over 6f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt) last time out. Do not underestimate.
