Won't get too many better chances to break through. BIG PLAYER (2) is a talented gelding who tackled a tougher race at his last run on November 25 and finished 11th behind Zipaway over 1m in the G2 WA Guineas at Ascot. Backmarker who keeps coming. Leading contender. KERMELIA (7) finished third, beaten 2.75 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at York. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise.
