NEW MAHER (3) is in top form, most recently recording a win by 1.75 lengths over 1m at Toowoomba to make it two in a row. No reason he cannot add to the picket fence. KAIROS LOUIE (10) comes here off a break of nine weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1m at Eagle Farm. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. PRADO (11) made late ground and finished third last time over 1m at Sunshine Coast, beaten 8 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. TWISTED MISTRESS (14) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing second over 1m1 1/2f at Toowoomba. Hard to leave out.
