SIR LAMORAK (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 1.2 lengths, over 1m1/2f at Gold Coast. Will strip fitter and is ready to win. STARZAM (2) made a nice return in a at Murwillumbah then stepped up in grade last time and finished 13th over 7f at Eagle Farm. One of the chances based on his best recent efforts. TAMBOURINE MAN (4) hit the frame two starts ago at Doomben but ran below par last time when 11th and beaten 8 lengths over 1m at Doomben after being in contention on the corner. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this circuit. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. SMART AS SMART (6) turned in a modest performance when sixth last time out over 1m1f at Sunshine Coast, beaten 5 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Worth plenty of thought.
