COSTNER (2) returns from a lay-off of five months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished fifth at Newcastle over 6f when when resuming last time in work. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Doomben. Best fresh figures put him right in this. PERIGEAN (1) went forward last start over 6f at this track and held on well for second, beaten 2.75 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. VESPER LYND (7) has not raced since her debut back on September 27 when she finished fifth over 4f at this track. Top-three chance with that run under her belt. SCRIBBLE (4) has not raced since being well supported on his debut back on October 29 when he finished 11th over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up.
