Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is a major player. EXTRAORDINAIRE (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at Eagle Farm, beaten 5 lengths. Strips fitter and can find the winners' list. PERSEVERE (6) was ridden quietly then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 8 lengths away in seventh last time out over 6¾f at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Strong top-three chance. SHOPPING WISE (9) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Sunshine Coast, beaten 4.5 lengths into tenth. The engagement of Jai Williams is a positive move. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
