BLUE RAY (2) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 5.5 lengths back in fourth over 1m1f at Sunshine Coast. Likely to measure up. NEW LEVEL (3) could only manage fourth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6¾f at this track, beaten only one length. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. MANNERHEIM (6) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at this track over 1m1/4f. Rates well and has the winkers removed. Shapes as one to consider. BITOFTHEBLARNEY (1) finished second at Doomben two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m1/4f at this track, finishing 4.5 lengths back in sixth. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects.
