UPTOWN TOM (9) recorded another minor placing last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths away in third over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf) when he was always up in the leading division. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. UNCLE TUFFY (13) was well fancied last time out but disappointed in finishing fourth over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt), beaten 5 lengths after he got a long way back in the run. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. RIESENBERG (2) finished just a nose from the winner in second last start over 1m at this track (Turf) after racing in the leading division. Should go forward again from a good gate. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. CHANNEL Z (10) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m at this track. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
