BARRISTAN THE BOLD (3) turned in a nice run when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Delaware Park then missed the placings last time when 5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6f at Aqueduct (Turf). Well placed to make amends. DEUS EX MACHINA (8) finished eighth two runs back at this track (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by 0.1 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend over 6f at this track (Dirt). Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. MAJOR WAGER (11) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 5f at this track (Turf). Can feature in the finish. CAMPTON (7) won at this track (Turf) two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing fifth over 6f at this track (Dirt). Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Finds a nice race and can atone.
