SAHALAT (7) scored in a at Churchill Downs (Dirt) but was below his best last time when fifth over 6f at Ellis Park (Dirt). Has the class to put the recent run behind him. AIR CAV (3) finished fourth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 5½f at this track, beaten only 0.8 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. PORT ROYAL (6) has been thereabouts since getting off the mark three runs back, the latest effort a second over 6f at this track (Dirt). Yet to miss the top three here in four starts. Strong claims on his best form. SOUND DOCTRINE (1) was last at the races when he finished second over 6f at Churchill Downs (Dirt) on June 2. One to consider.
