THE REAL THING (3) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Pakenham Synthetic over 1m, beaten 1.1 lengths. Has the blinkers removed. Rates highly and a bold showing is expected. HARTSHORN (5) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 2.75 lengths back in fifth over 5½f at Mackay. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. HE'S ALL POWER (6) was impressive last time over 4¾f at Cairns, scoring by 2 lengths. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. One of the main contenders. HAND GRENADE (10) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 4¾f at Cairns. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
