RIPPEN GOLD (4) improved last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 6f at this track. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. OPEN ARMS (9) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in second over 7f at this track after being prominent at the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. OXY BOLT (3) resumes from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 7f at Launceston. Placed in a recent trial. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. MURPHY'S KNIGHT (2) was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth in a 5¾f contest at Devonport Synthetic last time out. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
