CARNELIAN ROCK (5) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 6f at Launceston after being prominent from the outset. Awkwardly drawn and might need a little luck early. Finds a more suitable contest and can take the next step and salute. MISS TANZANITE (10) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 7f at Launceston when she was always up in the leading division. Looks well placed so expect another big run. HUBUBBAJAHN (12) raced on the speed last time but couldn't finish the race off and clocked-in sixth over 6f at Launceston. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role. LITTLE RIVER TOFF (13) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 7¼f at this track, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
