SPIRIT MAKER (4) scored at her most recent appearance, getting home by 1.5 lengths over 6f at Balnarring. That continued the good form this campaign, with three wins from seven outings. Sure to go well again. DIAMATTI (1) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Bairnsdale with a win as favourite over 5½f at Wangaratta a week ago, getting home by 2 lengths. Finds an easier race and can make it back-to-back wins. ROMI (2) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Grafton. Couldn't follow that up last time out when eighth over 5f at Grafton, beaten 6 lengths. Faces an easier assignment so she will prove hard to beat. FONTAINE DEL ROSSO (10) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 6f at Balnarring. Nicely placed to find some form.
