Good record at this journey with two wins and three minor placings from seven starts and shapes as a key contender. MAHONEY ROAD (7) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when fourth, beaten 10 lengths, over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Has the talent to figure prominently. DAPPER DUDE (5) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when sixth over 1m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
