PHILIPSBURG (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when fourth in a 6f contest at Fairmount Park two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. ALTO ROAD (1) finished fourth last start over 6f at Fairmount Park (Dirt) after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. ALIBI IKE (7) turned in a fine effort to score by 4 lengths at this track and distance last start in a much improved run. Nicely placed to score once again. STAR OF KODIAK (6) produced another moderate effort last start when 10 lengths from the winner in seventh over 5f at this track. Better than recent efforts suggest.
