ILLY SIMZ (5) is a three-start maiden who could only manage to finish 11th at her latest appearance over 6f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt) after she was well back on straightening. Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. LAST GASP (6) missed the placings two runs back then settled well back last start when 21 lengths away in 12th over 6f at Oaklawn Park. Won't find this as tough so she is a major player. GOLDEN NOTE (2) ran below expectations last time at Turfway Park (Synthetic), finishing tenth and beaten 31 lengths starting at 13/8. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. KATELYN'S MESS (4) is a five-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Earl W Hughes yard. Hasn't raced since finishing seventh at Mahoning Valley (Dirt) four-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. One of the main chances.
