ELI'S PROMISE (2) was safely held when second last time out over 6½f at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. RICHIESONAROLL (5) really dug deep to score by 2 lengths three runs back at this track (Dirt) before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Drops back in grade. Sure to feature. WENT WEST (1) showed good early pace over 6½f at this track (Dirt) last time and kept going to score by 4 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. MANTA REY (4) turned in another moderate effort last start when 7 lengths from the winner in 11th over 6f at Oaklawn Park. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
