Hard to beat back on the dirt here. SAPPHIRE NIGHTS (6) finished second at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 5½f at this track (Turf), finishing 24 lengths back in ninth. Finds a more suitable contest and can bounce back. HIP HOP EMMY (2) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at this track (Dirt), finishing seventh and beaten 17 lengths over 5½f. Nicely placed to make amends. GOLD OAK (1) was safely held when third last time out over 5½f at this track, beaten 8 lengths, after a win at Fairmount Park at the previous outing. Worth another chance.
