MAGGIE E (1) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track (Dirt) over 5½f after being in the firing line all the way. Drawn to go forward. Facing a tougher assignment but she is up to the task. HA HA GLORIA (4) is fresh from a lay-off of seven months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Santa Anita (Turf) over 6f. In a different yard now. Has ability and should be right in the finish. SNOW FLURRY (2) is still a maiden after three runs. Was one of the favoured runners last time out but after being in the firing line on the corner didn't live up to market expectations, finishing fourth over 6f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt). Expected to feature in the finish this time. DI'S SURPRISE (7) was well in the market on debut over 5f at this track (Dirt) last start and finished fifth, beaten 9 lengths. Has upside and can measure up.
