SUAY MAM'SELLE (3) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7½f at Port Macquarie, beaten only half a length after being in contention on the turn. This doesn't look as hard so she is ready to find the winners' list. WAR RIBBON (9) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1m2f at Kembla Grange. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PIERONIMO (7) is a four-start maiden who could only manage to finish fifth at his latest appearance over 1m at Kembla Grange after he got a long way back in the run. Finds the right race and is worth consideration. PLACID PEARL (10) has started twice, running a good second on debut then finishing fourth, beaten 7 lengths, last time over 7½f at Goulburn. Has plenty to offer.
