CHEERGAL (1) went forward last start over 6½f at this track and held on well for second, beaten one length. Enjoys a drop in grade so she is a major player. Good chance to break through. VADISIMO (4) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when sixth in a 7f contest at Newcastle three-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. RAVEN SCOUT (10) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fourth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 7½f at Goulburn. One of the main contenders.
