RHINESTONE LAD (7) missed the placings on debut two runs back then improved last start when he did his best work late but found a couple better over 1m at Newcastle, beaten 2.75 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. AKKADIAN EMPEROR (3) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1m1 1/4f at Newcastle. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. KHANT FAIL (10) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1m2 1/2f at Wyong. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways.
