PURSUE (6) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with success as favourite over 1m1/2f at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out. BIG UNION (3) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 10 lengths, over 1m1/2f at this track. Expected to prove tough to hold out again. NINE ONE ONE (7) was prominent at the bend and finished third last time over 6½f at Emerald Downs (Dirt), beaten 3 lengths. This doesn't look as hard so he is one of the main contenders. SMART LAD (5) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 6½f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
