AUGUST RAIN (8) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by 0.1 lengths over 1m1/2f at Listed level at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. J DUTTON (7) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by half a length over 1m at Santa Anita (Dirt). Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. WESTMINSTER (4) has been thereabouts all prep, last time out finishing third over 1m1/2f at Listed level at this track at the third run back. Will find this much easier. Well placed and is one of the main contenders. DIOCLES (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.1 lengths from the winner in second over 1m1/2f at this track. Finds a nice race and can keep improving.
