MERRY BLUE (2) showed the way from stall rise to score by 4 lengths last start over this course and distance. Sure to run well again. TIME TICKER (4) is struggling to find the winners' circle but has been around the mark, last start finishing second over 6½f at this track. Genuine performer so he is expected to measure up. WISELY PLAYED (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when fifth in a 1m1/2f contest at this track three weeks ago. Worth noting Kamil Santo goes aboard. Has the talent to take care of this field. SLOOP JOHN B (3) travelled on-pace last time out over 1m1/2f at this track and dug deep when pressured but found one better. Will be in this for a long way.
