STAR COMPASS (6) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of four-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 6f at Warrnambool. Placed in a recent trial. Rates highly and is a strong chance to break through. BRAZENGA (1) finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 5f at Warracknabeal, an improvement on his when resuming eighth at Caulfield the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. ARIZONA LUCK (8) stepped out for her debut over 6f at Warrnambool back on April 30 and finished fifth, beaten 5.5 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement.
