PRINCE OF DIAMONDS (1) was comfortably accounted for when sixth last time out over 7½f at Kilcoy, beaten 3 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. That followed a win at Esk at the previous outing. Has the ability to find the winners' list. GUS THE BUS (5) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 6f at Kilcoy, finishing 4 lengths back in seventh after being in contention on the bend. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. RADEGAST (7) missed the placings two runs back then was always well out of his ground last start when 10 lengths away in seventh over 1m1 1/2f at Kilcoy. Has the class to take care of this field. THE BRUMBY (8) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 7f76yards at this track, finishing third and beaten 1.75 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
