MONAZEL (5) finished fifth last start over 7¼f at Quirindi after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. ALLANDE (8) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time when beaten a nose into second over 6f at Walcha. Likely to be fighting out the finish. THE HULKBUSTER (10) was safely held when ninth last time out over 6f98yards at Orange, beaten 6 lengths. That followed a win at Gilgandra at the previous outing. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. VERTICAL (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 2.5 lengths away in fifth over 6f at Tamworth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
