KICKSTART (2) returned last time with a solid second at Albury over 4½f when he worked home well. Stepping up a level this time but he is right in contention. SEASMOKE (11) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished sixth over 5f at Wagga, beaten 1.75 lengths. Strong top-three chance. ORIENTAL DANE (14) finished 11 lengths back in tenth over 6f at Wagga at the latest appearance just a week-and-a-half ago. Worth another chance.
