MISSY SPIKE (8) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 7f at Benalla after she got a long way back. Should be peaking now and is a great chance to break through. JANNIK (6) finished 2.7 lengths away from the winner last time at Goulburn and drops in the weights. Well placed here and should be in the finish. LIQUOR TALK (11) did little and finished 14 lengths from the winner in tenth over 6½f at Canberra last start after being prominent at the bend, a less impressive effort than his ninth at Orange the run before. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GURU TWO (3) scored his maiden win four back and is poised to salute again after finishing in the money at the last three outings, most recently when third over 7f at Echuca. Blinkers are removed. Should run well.
