PROPHET'S PRIDE (5) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 2.25 lengths back in fourth over 5f at Wagga. Rates highly and expected to go well. STUPENDO (15) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on June 15 finishing eighth and beaten 12 lengths over 5½f at Rosehill. Has found a suitable race. MAJOR TIME (2) was beaten just a long neck last start when second in a small field over 5f at Canberra at the first run of the campaign on a soft ground. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. One of the main contenders. AKAKA FALLS (1) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Newcastle but disappointed last time when sixth, beaten 4 lengths, at Newcastle over 4½f. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
