SLEW DIVA (1) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 6f at this track (Dirt) when she was prominent throughout. Has the class to take care of this field. TRUMPETTA (6) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten 6 lengths when fifth in a 5½f contest at this track two weeks ago. Nicely placed to get the prize. SHINES MADELIN (3) is yet to break through in three runs. Finished eighth at her last appearance over 1m1/4f at this track (Synthetic) on November 30 after she was well back on straightening. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for her. FREEDOM PRINCESS (7) didn't do a lot on debut three-and-a-half weeks ago, finishing 17 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Will take a lot from that experience. No surprise to see her improve sharply.
