GAIN (6) is a two-start maiden who placed on debut then could only manage fifth last start, beaten 8 lengths over 1m at this track (Dirt). Better than the last effort and deserves another chance. IL ALCHEMYSTA (1) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth. Finds the right race this time and can find winning form. DIMANCHE GRAS (8) turned in a much better run at his second appearance last time out when 4 lengths from the winner in fourth over 7½f at this track (Turf). Progressive type who is nearing a win. OJIN (2) is back from a lay-off of nine weeks. Debuted with a third, beaten 3 lengths, over 5f at this track at his only appearance to date. A bold showing is expected.
