TRAPPEZOID (1) was always well back over this course and distance last time and never threatened in the straight, beaten 10 lengths into fifth. Will enjoy a drop in class so he will be hard to beat. POLITICAL RIOT (2) has registered two minor placings from three runs this campaign. Continued the trend at the most recent appearance when runner-up over 1m at Canterbury Park (Dirt) after he was in the firing line all the way. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. BOLDNESS (3) was comfortably accounted for when second last time out over 1m at this track, beaten 5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including four wins. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. COACH ABERNATHY (7) was beaten 6 lengths into seventh in a 1m1/4f contest at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
