XY SPEED (7) has had two runs since a break, the latest a seventh over 5½f in the G2 Woodford Stakes at Keeneland (Turf), beaten 2.75 lengths. Has scope for improvement so he looks the testing material. REEF RUNNER (4) scored by 2 lengths over this distance at Listed level at this track (Synthetic) last time out. Hard to knock form this course having never missed the frame including two wins and one placing. Leading contender. DOCTOR JEFF (2) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by 0.3 lengths at this track and trip last start to maintain his good form of late. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. PANTHER ISLAND (1) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on June 8 finishing ninth and beaten 7 lengths over 5f at Listed level at Churchill Downs (Turf). Has won three races at this course and distance from seven tries. Solid claims on best form.
