XY SPEED (1) was a dominant winner last time at this track (Turf) over the same distance. Form here at the trip is sound with six wins and five minor placings from 14 runs. Expected to go very well. HILARIOUS AFFAIR (6) clung on to finish third last start over 5½f at this track (Synthetic), beaten half a length. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. PORTOFINO (2) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 2 lengths at this track (Turf). Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins. Should be prominent from the outset. Will be in this for a long way. SIR FLASH (5) finished 1.3 lengths from the winner in third when resuming and tackling a turf track for the first time last start over this course and distance. Should be prominent from the outset. Solid claims on best form.
