Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. OCTANE (5) grade 3 winner. Led throughout last start to score an effortless 6 lengths win over 7f in stakes class at this track (Dirt). Emisael Jaramillo who has scored on him five times retains the mount. Leading contender. Set Weights IRVIN (1) did a great job to score by a nose over this course and distance when when resuming from a layoff last start. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to cope. Group 3 placegetter RUN CLASSIC (6) returns after a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Looking to emulate his win at this track at the beginning of last prep. Has recorded two wins when when resuming from a break. Has to be respected.
