SIR MENDEL (6) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 1m at this track (Turf). Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GAMBLIN GEORGE (3) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1.5 lengths from the winner in second over 1m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. DOWNING STREET (8) went forward last time and looked a chance on the corner but weakened to finish fourth over 1m at this track (Turf). Solid top-three chance on his best figures. MOHAWK RIVER (2) is returning from a lay-off of ten weeks. Finished fifth at Churchill Downs (Dirt) over 6½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer and is tackling turf for the first time. Among the each-way hopes while fresh.
