LIEUTENANT STAN (3) made progress last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 5f at this track after being in contention on the turn. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention. SPLIT STRIKE (6) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7½f at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. FRISSON (7) made progress last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5f at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. MAGIC SOUL (8) did a great job to score by half a length over this course and distance when when resuming from a break last time out. No reason he cannot salute again.
