SECRET LOVER (8) improved sharply on his seventh two starts back at this track (Turf) with a win over 1m at this track (Dirt) four weeks ago, getting home by half a length after being prominent at the bend after he came from a long way back on straightening. Looks well placed so expect another big run. LIGHTNING TONES (1) was fresh from a break of three months last start when beaten 3.5 lengths into third over 7f at this track (Dirt). Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Expected to run well. THE SKIPPER TOO (3) finished third last time over 1m at this track (Dirt), beaten 5 lengths. Emisael Jaramillo gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Nicely placed to take this out. SCAR (6) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m at this track (Dirt), beaten 3.5 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
