MAIN EVENT (7) grade 2 winner. Turned in a fair effort in the G2 Mac Diarmida Stakes at this track (Turf) over 1m3f at his last run 12 weeks ago, finishing fifth and beaten 1.5 lengths. Has switched to the Fernando Abreu yard. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. EYES ON THE KING (6) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by one length over 1m1/2f at Tampa Bay Downs (Turf). Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. WIN FOR THE MONEY (8) Placed in a Group 2. Returns from a layoff of six months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1m1/2f at Woodbine. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. ME AND MR C (4) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and finished third, beaten 2 lengths, over 1m1f in Listed grade at Tampa Bay Downs (Turf). Ready to go a couple better.
