QUIMICHIS (2) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off last start over 5f at this track (Turf). Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Nicely placed to take this out. TIFFANY GOLD (1) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 5f at this track (Synthetic) a month ago. Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. BEDROCK BIRDIE (7) ran below expectations last time after being prominent on the turn at this track (Synthetic), finishing fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths starting at 7/4. Likely improver with strong prospects. FAIRHOPECURLY (3) returns after a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Looking to emulate her win at Belterra Park when returning from a lay-off last prep. Worth plenty of thought.
