TOP MAVERICK (6) was rewarded with his maiden success last start, scoring by 7 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt). Winning rider Emisael Jaramillo sticks and he can go on with it. SECRET LOVER (4) missed the placings two runs back then was never in contention last start when 18 lengths away in seventh over 1m1/2f at this track. Will enjoy a drop in class so he can find the winners' list. FIRST SLEW (1) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fifth over 1m1/2f at Tampa Bay Downs (Turf). Among the chances. EKATI KING (3) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6½f at this track (Dirt) when he made late ground, beaten 8 lengths. Fitter for that run. Capable of another top-three outcome.
