WEDNESDAYNIGHT LAD (4) bounced back last start and got the job done by one length after being prominent at the bend over 1m at this track (Dirt). Taking on a better field but he is up to the task. MANNIX (3) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just two times from 20 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Nicely placed to play a major role. MAJOR KING (6) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on four consecutive occasions, before finishing fourth last time out over 6½f at this track. M A Vasquez stays aboard. One of the contenders. ENSIGN SKIP (1) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at this track (Dirt) two starts back then scored by 1.3 lengths last time out over 1m1/2f at this track (Synthetic). Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
