MACLIN (1) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 5½f at this track (Synthetic). Has race fitness on his side now. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. LAST SHIFT (2) was prominent at the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 5½f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Likely improver with strong prospects. PAYNTED BLUE (3) is yet to break through in four runs. Finished sixth at his last appearance over 6f at Tampa Bay Downs (Dirt) on December 24. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. BERNARDO'S LEGACY (6) ran a better race when second up last time out, finishing fourth over 5½f at this track (Synthetic). Don't underestimate.
