Allan Robertson Championship winner MRS GERIATRIX (4) made progress last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 7¼f at Turffontein Inside. Taking on a better line-up this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. PLAYER (7) was safely held when fourth last time out over 1m1 1/2f at Greyville All Weather, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a win at Turffontein Inside at the previous outing. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. LAGUNA VERDE (8) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 7f at Vaal after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to take this out. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
